Soft Tissue Therapy Program 1 With Oral B
Therapy Session #1:
- Disclose with flossing instruction
- Dispense & demo Oral B with home therapy instructions
- Full mouth therapeutic scaling
Therapy Session #2: Re-evaluation (scheduled 4-6 weeks after session #1)
- Review home therapy instructions - disclose, floss, & Oral B
- PSR probing
- Site specific treatment where indicated
- Polish using Proclude where indicated
- Maintenance Phase: Determine re-care interval, other
Soft Tissue Therapy Program 2 With Oral B Or Rota-Dent
Therapy Session #1:
- Disclose with flossing instruction
- Dispense & demo Oral B (or Rota-Dent) with home therapy instructions
- Dispense & demo chlorhexidine for at-home use
- Periodontal scaling (upper right quadrant)
- Periodontal scaling (lower right quadrant)
- Irrigation with anti-microbial & desensitizing medicaments
Therapy Session #2: (scheduled 1 week after session #1)
- Review home therapy instructions – disclose, floss, & Oral B (or Rota-Dent)
- Periodontal scaling (lower left quadrant)
- Periodontal scaling (upper left quadrant)
- Irrigation with anti-microbial & desensitizing medicaments
Therapy Session #3: Re-evaluation (scheduled 4-6 weeks after session #2)
- Comprehensive perio exam for comparison with initial evaluation
- Review home care instructions (if needed, including discl. solution, floss, & Oral B or Rota-Dent)
- Site-specific treatment where indicated
- Polish using Proclude where indicated
- Irrigation with anti-microbial (site specific if needed) and/or desensitizing medicaments
- Dispense NaF gel
- Maintenance Phase: Discontinue chlorhexidine at home, use NaF gel as instructed, determine re-care interval, other

Therapy Session #1:
- Disclose with flossing instruction
- Dispense & demo Oral B (or Rota-Dent) with home therapy instructions
